Walking Safari to the Falls and bridge

Don’t expect a “normal”walking tour, and save entrance fee to the Falls ($ 50 as of march 1st , 2023). This Victoria Falls Walking Tour to the bridge and view of the Falls is run by enthusiastic, locals and licensed safari guides who are happy to share their love for their hometown with you! On our regularly scheduled, guided group tours we offer you an entertaining mix of history, stories, fun facts, and useful alternative tips about your stay in Zimbabwe. In this Victoria Falls Bridge and Falls Tour, we will be meeting at the Post Office in town. From there we will be walking for about 15 minutes on a path thru the bush, where we might encounter wildlife such as Impalas, warthogs, and Baboons, that's why I recommend doing this tour with a local licensed guide. We pass a local Arts and Craft market and the entrance of the mighty Victoria Falls, before reaching the border checkpoint and immigration. Don't worry, you will not need your passport or a visa for crossing, your national picture ID will be just fine. I, as your guide, will handle the formalities for you in a few minutes, and here comes the best, there is no charge for you. After the border we will continue our walk for about 7 minutes,..the spay and sound of the Victoria Falls will be present at all times before we reach the historic Victoria falls bridge. While crossing the bridge you will have the unique views of part of the mighty Victoria Falls of the Zimbabwean and part of the Zambian Falls, without needing to pay the $ 50 entrance fee (as of march 1st 2023). Yes, you will not see the entire 1.3 miles of the Falls but its still impressive and as a bonus you get to see a part of the Zambian Falls as well. If you like to experience the entire Zim Falls We will walk slowly across and you will have time to enjoy and experience the Falls, the view the gorge, and the rushing waters of the Zambezi river below. After crossing the bridge into Zambia we will stop by at a small Museum site where you can admire a small-scale model of the bridge, historic photos, and documentation from the time it was built. After that, we will hike for 2 minutes to a panoramic outlook where you get fabulous photos of the bridge, the gorge, and the Falls behind. Then we will walk back over the bridge where you can admire the Falls again, pass immigration again and return on the paved path thru the bush where we might encounter local wildlife again, before reaching the post office, where this tour has started.
